She leads the project's strategic vision and ensures meaningful collaboration between UK and Brazilian partners.

Geographer and climatologist specializing in the Northeastern semi-arid region. Ana Luiza's research focuses on carbon fluxes, ecosystem services, and thermal comfort. She coordinates local engagement and brings deep connections to Mossoró's environmental networks, including her work with the Açu National Forest and Fridays for Future Mossoró.

Urban geographer studying socio-spatial fragmentation in Mossoró. Alexandre's research on residential segregation and peripheral urban development provides critical insight into how urban planning historically created climate-vulnerable zones. He ensures our work addresses structural inequalities.

Hydrogeologist and water resources specialist. Felipe's expertise in water insecurity, environmental justice, and geotechnologies helps us understand the physical dimensions of climate risk—from flash flooding to drought—and their social impacts.
